How to Recover Deleted Files from the Recycle Bin or Cloud Storage

Accidentally deleted a file? Here’s how to restore it:

  • From Recycle Bin (Windows):

    • Open the Recycle Bin, right-click the deleted file, and select Restore.

  • From Google Drive/OneDrive:

    • Go to the Trash folder, select the file, and click Restore.

  • From SharePoint:

    • Navigate to Site ContentsRecycle Bin, select the file, and restore it.

For permanently deleted files, IT may be able to restore from backups.
